These are new work i am producing for Art Basel in Miami at the beginning of December. I will be showing work there with my gallery. Its actaully at a separate thing,,, at the Aqua Hotel. More on this later on...

I am doing these tiny sketches of faces. I think i am becoming interested in how multiple expressions and emotions might form, and what constitutes a 'face'. This exercise could evolve into a form of figure drawing, where i begin to render full bodies in this way. I like the bleeding of the edges.

who am i?

This is a series of portraits i am doing of plastic action figures. They are printed at 'human scale'..... meaning that the head and shoulders are about the same size as your own. At this scale subtle nuance of expression and emotion become visible.
